Established in 1983 as a partnership firm under Patel Jadavjibhai Devrajbhai, our journey began with a core focus on manufacturing and supplying bulk agricultural seeds, specializing in premium-grade groundnut, Lucerne, and coriander seeds.

A strategic turning point arrived in 2001 with the appointment of our main promoter, Mr. Arvindkumar Kakadia (Pintu Patel)—son of founder Jadavjibhai Devrajbhai Kakadia—as Managing Director. Under his visionary leadership, the firm shifted its focus toward high-yield oil and vegetable seeds, including groundnut, sesame, wheat, and gram seeds. Leveraging this expanded portfolio, the company established a robust marketing network across Gujarat, culminating in the launch of our flagship brand, "Bombay Super" in 2005. The brand rapidly expanded its footprint across seven major agricultural states.

To support its sustained growth and strengthen its corporate governance framework, the organization undertook a phased corporate transformation:

2014

The business was converted from a partnership firm into Bombay Super Hybrid Seeds Ltd., with the existing partners continuing as directors and key promoters of the company.

2017

The company was further restructured from a private limited company into a public limited company, enhancing its organizational structure and preparing for broader capital market participation.

2018

The partnership firm was converted into Private Limited company as Bombay Super Hybrid Seeds Pvt. Ltd., with the existing partners continuing as the promoters and directors of the company, ensuring continuity in leadership and business operations.

Today, Bombay Super Hybrid Seeds Ltd. maintains a strong and stable shareholding pattern, with 73.85% promoter holding and 26.15% public holding, reflecting sustained promoter confidence and broad investor participation.
